Ulster County is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. Less than two hours from New York City, and littered with cultural hotspots, it's the perfect place for a visit, a vacation home, or to live permanently. (We think you should live here permanently.)

To get to High Falls from New York City and points South, take the New York State Thruway to exit 18-New Paltz. Follow Rte 299 West to the bottom of the hill. Make a right on to Route 32. Continue on about 7 miles, to Rosendale. At the light just past the bridge in Rosendale, turn left on to Route 213. Stop in Rosendale to shop. Continue on 213, and in 5 minutes, you'll be in High Falls. Stop at the Eggs Nest for lunch, then turn left on Mohonk Road, and you'll find us a mile up the road in the Mohonk Arts building on the right.

From Albany and points North, take the Thruway to exit 19-Kingston. Take the first exit off the traffic circle. (Route 28.) Go about a quarter of a mile. Follow the signs for Route 209 South. Take 209 South through Stone Ridge. At the second light, make a left on to Route 213. Follow 213 to High Falls. Stop at the Egg's Nest for Lunch. Turn right on to Mohonk Road, and you'll find us a mile up the road in the Mohonk Arts building on the right.
